Campground within 1/2 hr of Saroborough, ME?
Can anybody recommend a campground that is within about 1/2 hour drive of Scarborough Maine? Going to visit in 2 weeks and need to figure something out. Have a 33' fiver, with 2 kids. Activites are really not too important, we can ammuse ourselves. Looked at the RV park Reviews website, and while some looked ok, none really jumped out too much.
Thanks!
RE: Help!! How do I park that #**# 5th wheel
The best thing I read that helps me is to watch the wheels. I am still not perfect, but I haven't had a site I couldn't get into, and I have never got it right the first time either. Adjustments (back and forth) are all part of it. Don't fret them!!
I have a tough drive to back into (wrong side of a 70 degree angle, thankfully on the drivers side) What I do, is to pull past my drive, then cut hard to the left and stop. This puts the truck at an angle to the trailer that sets things in the right direction from the get go. Then I steer the truck opposite (hard) as I back up and this gets me quickly to almost jacknife, and I steer to straighten everything out. I watch the tires on the trailer to keep them out of the ditch, and I am hugging the inside of the turn. I still have to pull forward to recover from it, but I haven't gone into the ditch, nor hit the trees on either side. Just work with it and be patient.
5er skirting/trim repairs
A piece of the skirting on my rig (the sheet metal on the outside that hangs down to cover the frame from view) is coming loose. I see that the screws that the factory put in missed the mark. Seems easy enough to fix, just pull off the sealant, pull off the screw cover trim, and re-screw into the appropriate place.
Question is, what is the best type of sealant to put back? The stuff on it now is a bronze color. I know Home Depot carries may types of sealant, but I am guessing my choices in a bronze color will be a bit limiting. Will any outdoor sealant work?
Secondly, we had a piece of the flexible screw cover trim fall off last year that I need to replace (the flexible stuff that fits in slots on either side and is convex in the middle), and I need to get a roll of it. Where is the best place to buy this? Camping world said they don't have it, and an internet site would be great!
Thanks for any help!!

5er sink help
Our 5er has a leaky bathroom sink. We noticed a drip on the shelf below the sink drain. We put a container under the P-trap to catch the drips. I want to get it fixed before we start this season. Problem is, I cannot figure out where it is leaking from. I pulled the p-trap out, it has threaded nut things (and a white bushing thing on the pipes they connect to) on each end that clamp onto the pipes from what I can tell. I don't see any cracks. The horizontal pipe that runs to the vertical pipe runs downhill to that pipe (which makes sense). So I am guessing that the leak has to be at the sink drop pipe, or either end of the p-trap.
I have tried feeling, but can never find a wet spot, although the container is filling. I am not much of a plumber, but this seems like it should be an easy job, if I could figure out what to do. Part of me wonders if the P-trap input and output being 90 degrees from each other, and maybe the horizontal pipe and sink drop pipe are crooked enough to not make a good seal?
What should I look for?
What can I do to fix it?
Where do I buy parts? Do they stock 1 1/2" stuff at Home Depot/Lowes?
Thanks for any help or guidance!!

NE Moose viewing.... Best areas?
We are planning a summer trip to Maine (Bar Harbor/Acadia), and want to see some moose. Is there a location more inland that is a very good spot to go in Maine or New Hampshire or Vermont? Thinking maybe a few days in/near Acadia, then maybe head inland for a couple days if it is better for moose viewing.
Any recomendations?
Maine camping suggestions?
Starting to plan our 2008 big summer trip, on the order of 10 days or so, with our 33' fiver. We are going to leave Michigan and headed to the north east. We plan to visit some family at some point in Bridgewater MA, but we're thinking of heading to to Maine to go to Acadia. Heard it is beautiful.
We will be with our 2 kids (5 and 3) but that doesn't mean we have to be by kids stuff, bike rides, hikes through the woods and looking for animals is always fun. We usually hit state or private parks, but usually prefer the state parks due to the beauty. Also don't have problems with National parks, although we havn't been in one yet.
Any other suggestions of must see areas in Mass, Maine, Vermont or New Hampshire? Or places to stay? Any help is much appreciated!!
RE: Sandpiper or Sierra - what's the difference?
Yep. The way I understand it is that the two models allow for having two dealers sell the "same" different trailer in closer proximity to each other without "direct" competition.
